Borked taskbar on LXDE - SOLVED
« on: January 07, 2011, 12:58:43 PM »
I've set an old pc - 7 years , with AMD XP, KT400  and Radeon 9250SE - for one of my neighbours. Because of the age and lack of power i decided to install the LXDE version, a first for me. Unfortunately he has managed to mess it up already: he has deleted the "Quick Launch" applet and i don't know how to bring it back - or to reset the toolbar to its default. To be more exact i restored the App Launch Bar but i have no idea how you can add icons in it - by dragging doesn't work.
One more thing - which driver should i use for the video? Now i'm using the default one (the fglrx) and i experience problems in MPlayer and the X server crashes when i change the resolution.

Right-click on the panel should show the options for the panel bar.

PCManFM > View > tick Show Hidden Files > open the .config folder > right click the lxpanel folder > Rename - add .old to the end of the name > View > untick Show Hidden Files > log out > log in. LXPanel will be returned to default settings.
