[SOLVED] cursor-theme-aero question?
« on: January 06, 2011, 06:03:18 PM »
I just installed this mouse cursor theme but it doesn't show up in the "Mouse" settings in the Xfce Settings Manager.  Does anyone know where within the file system this cursor theme installs itself?

Thanx in advance,
Fred in St. Louis

Just installed aero on Phoenix Mini. It shows up, for me, in the Settings Manager. The icons are in /usr/share /icons.

Yeah, that's where they should be, and Synaptic says that theme is installed -- but it's not there, and I looked in /usr/share/icons, too, and I see the other mouse cursor themes as well as the icon themes there, too.  But not the aero one.  Strange...

EDIT -- I just looked again, and I think they may have been there the whole time.  For some funny reason, I was expecting them to appear before "Default", since A obviously comes before D in the alphabet.  But for some funny reason, Xfce's mouse cursor theme dialog puts "Default" first.  If that "Aero" entry had been a snake, it woulda bit me!  Boy do I feel like an idiot...anyways, I have my theme.  Thanx!
