Find file
« on: January 03, 2011, 08:31:15 PM »
I stumbled on the Find File utility in XFCE. Wow!  That is really slick!  Nice, clean, fast!  I wish it were available in KDE.

I dunno.  I think that's the KDE based version.  This other one in XFCE was quite different and much faster.

Here's the Find File (called "Search for Files") utility in XFCE.  Very simple, elegant, and fast!:)

Hay Mark. What's wrong with the "Find File" option in Dolphin under "Tools"?

  ???  ;D ;D

EDIT:  I see it's the same as the one under the previously mentioned "file tools". If you don't like it, you might could install the "find utility" that you do like. What is is called?

I'm not Mark, but maybe cuz Dolphin isn't installed on Phoenix/Xfce? Thunar is the default file manager there, and is my favorite.
