I too was having shutdown problems when using multiple ISOs on a usb stick using unetbootin. PCLOS was the only one that would not shut down properly without having to press the power button.
However following the advice re adding the fromusb line to the syslinux.conf file everything works perfectly now. Thanks to DeBass
