Dual booting XP Pro and PCLOS using ntldr. Switched to a wireless N USB adapter and router recently, after using wireless G since the PCLOS 2007 release (Vista got me to try Linux, and PCLOS keeps me interested). Tried 3 different wireless N adapters for version 2010.12 with mixed results. The Netgear WN111v2 purchased refurbished for a great price would lock up the Linux system on boot or when inserted, a real no go without kernel modification I imagine. The Cisco Linksys AE1000 was recognized as a scanner and would not function for me using the varying Windows system inf files on the install CD. The Belkin Surf/Share Wireless USB adapter was also recognized as a scanner but works with the inf file in the Drivers/XP Folder on the install CD. As a previous die hard Windows user, and one who uses a terminal only when necessary, I need to say thank you to Tex and the crew for all their hard work on a wonderful Operating System, and thanks also to the folks who work on the ndiswrapper for making my wireless life with Linux a whole lot easier. I just love it when a light comes on, it makes everything else worth while.
