In addition to what Neal had already mentioned, which by the way are already on the Post reply editor,

/me followed by other words would generate:

* <username> followed by other words

For example, /me is a PCLinuxOS user    <---- will output

* Archie is a PCLinuxOS user

BTW, that was excellent reference, Aradalf. Thanks.

It's part of the forum! When you click on Help in the top bar, you can navigate through the menus to get to the reference.

Yes, yes. But not too many people (myself included) wander around that useful area of the forum. And it's good that you pointed out the obvious - Search first! Again, thanks.

I am experiencing messing ups when making table or list in an answer. They look some tricky to my poor skills. :)

An additional reference: http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php?action=help;page=post#bbcref

Regarding how to insert an image, I reviewed the link information, and found:

http://somesite/image.gif

If my image is in my HDD, in My Documents, how do I produce the insert? Thank you.

You don't from your HDD, unless are running a webserver. Images must be uploaded to a website.
