(Solved) E-17 Light, Can't update anything
« on: December 25, 2010, 02:01:28 PM »
This afternoon I tried to check for updates. Synaptic freezes and won't even kill. Apt-get update starts to work but eventually freezes. Did Santa mess with my puter??? ???

Edit: Apparently the computer thinks synaptic is still running even after a reboot. I don't see it in the LXTaskmanager unless it's called something else. this is annoying.

thanks smurf. that worked. although I had to re-run the repo speed test to get the sources list corrected. which is good because I didn't know how to do it myself  ;D
