O.K. i give up. What does it mean? It looks really interesting!
Have a great evening!
Hi,
I'll try to explain this to you. Not easy, because it's a French-France story. This is about one of our former minister, a woman named Christine Albanel. Some time ago, one year or so, was discussed a project of law concerning the creation of a special entity dedicated to hunt and pursue the internet users downloading music illegally. They have imagined to force the users to buy a special program meant to be installed in their machine to spy on them. Indeed the program has to be invented... and used... and... I leave all the technical fun that has been talked about since... along the discussions at the Senat, which was reported on videos at Youtube, on webtv and so on, we had the surprise to see and hear this minister talking about computing, say "oh yes, I know, we have firewalls, we have OpenOffice... "
The whole French community now knows that in reality Openoffice is indeed, a firewall !!!
The link above talks about the way someone has tweaked Openoffice to be able to do some firewalling.

It is the kernel module nfqueue that is used there. "
module kernel nfqueue"
Les fichiers sont téléchargeables ici.
==> you can download the files there:
http://www.wzdftpd.net/downloads/oowall/How is that ? basically he managed that OOo would never have the root rights, and "(XML-RPC) entre Oo et nfqueue, avec pyUNOserver" put a XML-RPC layer between OOo and nfqueue with the help of pyUNOserver.
If you want more informations, just say. Maybe other people with translating capabilities could join here too ?
