I want to add new smileys for my IM. a number of web sites have them. When I go into custom smileys and add them, I con't get them to go into IM. I create shortcut phases but They don't work. What I'm I missing. Thanks

each one has a way to add new smileys, please give us more information on file type and app used

Hello again. I am using pidgin as my IM.It has a standard aray of smileys.I go into tools, custom and it has my downloaded smileys in manager. It asks for short cut text. I put in some random symbols and hit add. but when I type this in pidgin, my random symbols appear not my smileys.I know this is low ball stuff, but pclos is running great so I don't any other problems at this time. Thanks
