[Solved] new gadgets
« on: December 12, 2010, 09:53:16 AM »
I've tried looking around the web for new gadgets as well as the built in menus on importing them but can't seem to find what I want. I see plenty of screenshots of people's desktops that have a weather gadget or a system monitor gadget but where/how do I actually install those?

Everywhere I look it just shows more themes....they are nice but the big analogue clock is starting to get to me..I need something that I see always...

Thanks!

Found the gadgets, hidden as an option in synaptic...I kept trying to get it through the actual modules or gadgets options...

The gadget EWeather keeps crashing my system. Completely locks it up every time. Anyone else have this problem?

Hi there!

Try another gadget Forecasts. It works nice...

Try gadget TClock and put it in a shelf. You will see it always.

In order to activate gadgets which are not included in the default pack, you need to load them from Modules

I don't think so.

I guess two days (current and next) is enough for a gadget :)

For longer forecast, you can visit the same website, from where the gadget gets information. They have monthly forecasts as well.

Here you go http://www.weather.com/
