Hi,

The translation for the French part looks very much like a google translation, so I submit here the French part. Welcome to all who want to translate or correct the translation for their language.

Openbox is a window manager for the X11 windowing system.
It currently runs on a large list of platforms. It was originally
based on blackbox and currently remains very similar, even using
blackbox styles (with available extensions) for its themeing.

Openbox is the spawn of a number of previous blackbox users/hackers.
Being overall pleased with the window manager, but feeling left unable
to contribute, this project was born.The Openbox project is developed,
maintained, and contributed to by these individuals.

Il fonctionne actuellement sur un grand nombre de plate-formes. Il a été à l'origine
basé sur Blackbox et reste actuellement très similaire, même en utilisant

Openbox est le produit d'un certain nombre d'utilisateurs/programmeurs utilisant Blackbox.
Contents au-delà de tout de disposer de ce gestionnaire de fenêtres,
mais frustrés de ne pouvoir y contribuer, ce projet est né. Le projet Openbox a été
développé, maintenu, par les même contributeurs.
