defaults on UK liveCD are not UK

It's a small point, but the liveCD (2010, came with LXF137 magazine in UK), when it starts, is set  to point at the U/S keyboard by default, rather than the useful UK version..

Also on that page,
 2. check  http://www.pclinuxos.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
            --> 404  ooops
but perhaps that's a 'general' point.

the link to that wiki, is the manual?

it was removed some time ago, too many hackers attacks recently, will be back, some day

about the uk you mention, is it a iso?

from where did you downloaded it?

who did it?  is it a remastered version?

if that is the case then this have to be asked to the person that did it

the official version is the pclinux kde and the mini, followed by gnome, other versions are not made by Texstar afik

The official ISOs give the opportunity to select keyboard on boot up.
This appears to be something to be taken up with the magazine from which you got the OS ......  if they are UK, then they should have adjusted it accordingly.
