What about File-->Save Page as... ?
Isn't it the same?

Nope. You try it. It's a bunch of crap if there is any java script. And the saved page goes and finds servers when you go and look at it from the disk. Save Page As should be illegal because of false advertising.  >:(

In most cases, saving as simple text is sufficient.  Especially the fixes and tips we see here...

Yup as F.Luent  says have a look at Save Page As and on the bottom r/hand side there is a dropdown box.

Chromium has the same feature. Mostly I have always just saved the text portion of what I wanted, but lately i've been using the groovy little screenshot utility, it has a feature where I can choose just to grab an area I select, so I make myself little pictures, lol! For some reason it just seems more enjoyable, I have a file for tips and hints and I store them there, naming them appropriately.

Tips and Tricks are always a nice addition for The PCLOS. Since my early days, I have added a file, on a safe HD, (Tips) hi-lite the text, click and save with an editor of choice, to (Tips)
folder, filed under name's, to be found quickly. SO when I have to or want to "redo" the HD
I have everything, all short cuts and add on's listed, so I can pu where I left off...

This is easiest for me as well..... I have an exterior HD that I use to backup documents.

I also have a notebook of stuff I've printed ....   stored on the floor next to my left foot.
