Exaile - No URI handler problem

After reading through the forums I installed exaile to play music CDs.  I get the following error:

Playback error encountered.  No URI handler to implement for cdda".  I have googled but get mplayer hits.

Open Synaptic, and make sure the package python-cddb is installed.  

Also, if you go to edit: preferences: plugins make sure the CD player plugin is enabled.
