A few more e17 questions

When I enable transparency on the shelf in the qt based e17 edition I loose the clipboard and network applet. I also had problems with the "show desktop" button disappearing if I used it. I just removed "show desktop", that's not a big deal. Is it possible to get network and the clipboard to display with transparency enabled? This is no big deal, I am just trying for some serious bling with the new theme August added.

In the shelf settings try setting the stacking to below everything then set appearance to invisible.

smurfslover, your solution would be a good addition to the "Tips and Tricks section of the forum. After looking at some of the screen shots, some might not know about this.

Edit: Also, the show desktop and pager are working from the shelf again.  ;D
