How could be this tested? By me to say?
By the way where's JohnBoy?

Hi ....... me here ...... just getting younger by the day

What is needed is to do a remaster of an install, after replacing the existing
/usr/share/mylivecd/linuxrc file with the one I provided the link for.
It is so much quicker and easier if you have a spare partition to install one of the mini versions of PCLOS, then change the file, and then remaster.
After that, use the PCLinuxOS-liveUSB creator package to do a live install of the new remaster, to a removable device like a flash drive partition, or an external USB connected HDD partition. The target partition needs to be formatted ext2 or ext3 for the live creator.
You would then need to edit the menu.lst file on the new live install to add the
copy2ram boot code to the two existing stanzas ........ I just add it after the
fromusb boot code on that line in both stanzas.
I also change
splash=silent to
splash=verbose so that I can watch the screen and see that copy2ram is actually working ...... there will be a delay while it is copying the loop image into ram.
It will throw an error if it fails ...... just saying it cannot copy to ram, and continuing on as a normal boot.
It does take some time, which is why I suggested using a mini install.
Hope that clarifies ...... but get back if not

regards.
