Hi,

And what about this cpu over run now ? Is it still a problem ?

I may have found a detail, because of the post from someone else using also Lxde. Could you just after a fresh boot or reboot copy here the content of the file /home/you/.xsession-errors ?

Do you have any message related to "beagle" or "beagled" there ?

Sorry, my fault. I've not had as much time at the library to get everything done. After getting rid of firestarter and rkhunter I've tried to keep the lappy running as long as I can without overheating and so far no CPU over runs.

I see where your going with the beagle message, when d-bus was downloaded that's about the time it started.

I did notice another over run after moving/deleting text files on the desktop, as soon as I get enough there to see if it does it again will post that one.

Thanks!
