Please note: You do not need to download and install this release if you have been keeping up with your updates on a 2010.07 LXDE install. This is mainly for those new to PCLinuxOS LXDE so they don't have so many downloads to perform to get updated to current status.

OK no problem!  ;D

i haven't used lxde version but afik, all you need to do is open synaptic, press reload button and apply all updates

since pclinux is a rolling release expect many packages, 200 mbs or more

491Mb in my case.  >:(

You may well strike little glitches as all the old stuff gets acquainted with the new. Here, it was the desktop icons and OO. Which reminds me; I must go ask someone about that.

If you have been keeping up with your updates from the 2010.07 release you can keep on updating it. If you haven't updated it in 3 months then it is better to get the latest ISO release. The longer you wait the more chance of something going wrong. Once we cut updated isos we only check updating from the new isos going forward.

Thanks to everyone who donates. You keep the servers running.
