Hi,
The package setup that we have in the repos looks like it comes directly from Mandriva. Based on this finding:
http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,79046.msg682134.html#msg682134where it seems that adding "ext3" on the first line in /etc/filesystems, which belongs to the setup package, could be a good idea...
I would have thought that going to request package section could be a good idea, but I changed my mind, because the Fedora package that I was looking at shows numerous bugs posted at diverse places on the web.
But I found something else, while looking at a former setup package, not in F14 this time but in F13 just in case, I realized that:
http://hany.sk/~hany/RPM/f-13-i386/setup-2.8.17-1.fc13.noarch.htmlext3 has been re-introduced in /etc/filesystems long ago:
* Tue Mar 12 2002 Bill Nottingham <notting(at)redhat.com> 2.5.9-1
- re-add ext3 to /etc/filesystems
I am going to do next Openbox Mini/Base remaster with ext3 added to /etc/filesystems, in order to know if this solves the related error messages in dmesg.
If this modification helps, improves, and don't cause trouble, what about spreading it to all versions in a close future ?
Regards,
Mélodie
