What is gezswitch ? Wouldn't it be interesting to submit it to all language translators available around or is it a program that can interest only dutch people ?

I'd think it's explained in the beginning of this thread....
This is a conversion of the "ezswitch" application (look in Synaptic) to Perl GTK, so it can be used in PCLinuxOS Control Center in the future........

So everyone who can translate it in his/her language, is encouraged to do it

I took the .po dutch posted by rubentje1991 and make a po file with French translation.
Unfortunatly, I'm unable to create de .mo file. (Maybe because I started with this .po file.)

...I was working on "ezswitch", not "gezswitch"; I just posted the request in this thread to recruit it's translators...  I will definitely use the file you posted in the other thread though!  

(.."gezswitch" was a project to integrate "ezswitch" into PCC using perlGTK, but I don't think it ever was finalized)


Also, the .mo files are generally not needed, as they are created automatically during the packaging process.

Yep... in the past, it was sometimes asked to send it in .mo - not anymore now apparently (that's better in my opinion)....

Maybe that the gezswitch project will be used in the future - but at the moment, the devs are just too busy completing 64-bit, new KDE, new kernels, .......
