Now if I could get ecomph working properly with the fglrx driver I would move it out of testing. I'll play with the script later today and see if I can figure out anything. If it works with nvidia it should be able to work with fglrx.

I have done all the updates as suggested but still get a "black" screen and no screensaver. It does power the monitor off correctly though after 30 minutes.

I went through my startup applications and the closest I could find was "StartScreenSaverDaemon"...
Am I missing something?

****EDIT:
Started working. I have no idea why....was at a black screen all day... Thanks anyway!

****EDIT 2:
I spoke 2 soon. After a reboot, it has stopped working again.
