Hi,

There is probably an additionnal file unneeded:

go to /home/user/.config/pcmanfm and there you must have only the directory "default" with a file "pcmanfm.conf" in it. If you see a file "pcmanfm.conf" right besides the directory "default" : erase it. You must have the tree directory looking like this once finished:
Quote
$ ls -lR /home/melodie/.config/pcmanfm/
.config/pcmanfm/:
total 4
drwx------ 2 melodie melodie 4096 2010-10-29 19:06 default/

.config/pcmanfm/default:
total 4
-rw-rw-r-- 1 melodie melodie 386 2010-10-29 19:06 pcmanfm.conf

If this is the fix for you, please check also the directory "/etc/skel/.config/pcmanfm" and the directory "/root/.config/pcmanfm".

You added main and main.lxde : I use Openbox only, so I didn't remember about theses two. :)

You were right to come and explain further.

Huh, there is another bug with keyboard layout indicator. :( In place of another flag it writing TERMINATE but the US flag is ok.

This trouble previously was found in Mandriva 2010.1. In PCLinuxOS it's ok at first time but the next time it have same bug.

Right click pn the panel -> Panel Settings -> Panel Applets -> Keyboard Layout Switcher. That shows flag of current layout in panel. And vice RUS-flag I have message TERMINATE.

Ok I found the switcher : had a Lxde started in vbox. Could you bring back a screenshot to let us see what this "TERMINATE" looks like please ?

Ok. Bug with layout indicator was solved! May be it will be interesting for somebody else.
Add to file /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/autostart the string @setxkbmap before string @lxpanel.
The new /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/autostart shoulbe looks like this:
Code: [Select]
@xscreensaver -no-splash
@pcmanfm --desktop
@setxkbmap
@lxpanel -p LXDE
