First time i've had this problem.

Trying to burn an iso, have tried the right-click "write to disc" and also through the Brasero front-end and with both burners on my machine. As soon as I finish setting it up to burn at the slowest speed and hit the button to begin the burn, it shuts down immediately and does nothing. Here is the message from /var/log/messages:

Quote
Nov 28 15:15:21 localhost dbus-daemon: [system] Rejected send message, 2 matched rules; type="method_call", sender=":1.17" (uid=500 pid=1959 comm="gnome-session) interface="org.freedesktop.ConsoleKit.Manager" member="CanStop" error name="(unset)" requested_reply=0 destination=":1.1" (uid=0 pid=716 comm="/usr/sbin/console-kit-daemon))

Never had problems before, strange. I am running Gnome-Zen-mini 2010.10 (I reckon everybody knows that by now, lol)

Any and all tips appreciated, thanks!

Solved by installing cdrkit from the repo, it was present in the 2010.07 iso of Zen, but not in the 2010.10.
