Virtualbox affects wireless
« on: October 26, 2010, 11:47:51 PM »
I recently installed the PUEL virtualbox, via the getvirtualbox script on my laptop.
Installed beautifully!
but......
Now there is a 2 minute delay for my wireless to be detected at startup.
Usually the wireless indicator lights before the desktop loads, but after the vbox install, the indicator is off for 2 minutes after the desktop is fully loaded.  :(
Same when computer awakes from sleep---2 min delay.
This is not really a complaint, cuz wireless still works ok. But annoying.
I am fully updated KDE4.x, kernel 2.6.33.7-pclos6.bfs, vbox 3.2.10 66896
Any ideas? Thanks.
btw. I had the same issue on the previous kernel, but later uninstalled vbox & forgot about it til reinstalled  now.
