[SOLVED] Where are the system icons stored?
« on: October 21, 2010, 11:25:23 AM »
I created a link on the desktop that opens VirtualBox and brings up NetFlix which of course only runs under Windows.

I want to add a NetFlix icon instead of one of the generic choices available in the list of system icons.

I found an icon using Google and can convert it to the required format.

I believe that the icon must be a .png file but I don't know what resolution it should be and more importantly, where the folder is that contains the icons so that I can add the new NetFlix icon to the choices.

EDIT:

Oops, forgot to mention that I am running kde 4 fully updated.

Thanks

I had done a file search on icons and was overwhelmed with the number of items it came back with.

There were so many icons in so many different places that I could not figure out what the pattern was.

Knowing that you would not lead me astray, it did not take too long to figure it out from the location that you gave.

It is all done and looks great.

Of course, as soon as I got it done, the NetFlix server for this area went down.

Thanks again.
