Grup entries not recognized

Well, Hello fellows.

Having introduced myself on Welcome Center, go for my first post.

I have installed PCLOS in a couple of machines. One laptop and one PC. In both occasion Openbox version went very well.

What is odd is that after installing grub during install, after rebooting, just PCLOS entries shows up. Not other distros previously installed on sda.

I have been reading post about grub on PCLOS but, besides Grub2 vs Legacy, too technical for me, do not see problems of the kind I have.

Nothing odd about it. A couple of distros decided they would use grub 2 which is not backward compatible with grub legacy that Fedora, Mandriva, Opensuse, PCLinuxOS, Mepis, CentOS and other majors distributions use. PCLinuxOS will not look for or import any grub2 distributions at this time.

Texstar, thanks for a simple answer on that matter.

My problem is that new PCLOS install does not show a couple of distro in Grub. I have Tuquito and CentOS. None of them appear on booting PCLOS.

Any clue?

I have to admit that never studied anything about grub, so I will read this: http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/grub.html
Except you recommend something else.
