Cannot access network shared folders with PCLinuxOS 2010

Hello folks

I recently bought a D-Link DIR-625 router and set it up on my system.  I have wired connections to three windows computers and one PCLinux box, and one wireless laptop which also runs PCLinux.  The problem is that the PCLinux computers cannot access the shared Windows folders, nor can they access or see the PCLinux shared folders. The workgroup can be seen, but no computers.  The windows machines have no problem communicating with each other or seeing either the Windows or Linux machines and folders.

I set the whole works up using the CD included with the router.   All computers have internet access.  Samba is working.

When I reset the router and simply plug all the machines in, everything works fine.  However when I do that I imagine there is no encription or anything else working to cause the problem.  At this point it seems to be a router problem or setting that is blocking access somehow.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?  If so, how did you correct it?

In addition to 5's post, have you been into

PCC (Configure Your Computer) >> System >> Manage System Services

and check whether you have smb set to run at boot

Also have you checked your Firewall?

Workgroup names etc?

I have checked all of those things.  I'm pretty sure it is the router causing the issue, as everything worked perfectly with my old router, which was also a D-Link.
