mylivecd DIE Fatal: problem with mylivecd backup (SOLVED)
« on: October 14, 2010, 02:25:53 PM »
I can't run mylivecd and I get this error:

# mylivecd PBOct14.iso
mylivecd, version 0.9.3, http://pclinuxos.com/

There is plenty of room on the hard drive, and I ran umount -a first.

The closest thing I can see in a search is this post:

Thanks!

If you have updated mylivecd then update your kernel to the latest version. Make sure your installation doesn't exceed 8-10 gig as it will not compress down to a 4 gig iso.

Got in all kinds of trouble playing with kernels at boot, but it is ok now.
Also had a leftover .iso in the home folder that may have exceeded the limit.
I checked before backup and drive was about 6 gig.

What happened to that process that put the latest kernel on the system automagically? Kernel latest or something...
