Form not showing data correctly when db copied to another compu
« on: October 13, 2010, 10:40:32 PM »
Have made a OOo 3.2.1 Base db on one of our computers and have tried to copy it to another computer.  It seems to work just fine, except that the form opens and show numeric data in text controls and is truncating numeric controls.

i found the below on the OOo Base forum, but it suggests

Quote
installing sun/oracle version 3.2.1

Since both versions appear to be the same, i'm wondering if our GOOoffice version is different than the Sun/Oracle one and if so, what can be done about this bug since i don't want to go and mess up our installation.  The other boxes are also running PCL 2010 updated and OOo is also updated through OpenOfficeManager.

Any ideas?  Have a great evening!  :)

Yes it is. You need to update it through the getopenoffice script, when upgrades are available.

Of what use be there for joy, if not for the sharing thereof?

Thanks, Old-Polack.  We're not in any hurry anymore since the dentist to whom we were going to sell the database (and the laptop and the website) decided he didn't want any of it if we didn't have the database ready for delivery.

Oh well, tomorrow's another day.  Thanks again for replying and

have a great evening!  :)
