[PCLinuxOS-theme] doesn't it miss some files ?
« on: October 05, 2010, 03:57:14 PM »
Hi,

I am starting to install cli.iso number 2 from etjr in Virtualbox to do some tests. Now I meet with unexpected issue : first plymouth is missing, but then once installed it misses a file:
/usr/share/plymouth/themes/PCLinuxOS/PCLinuxOS.plymouth

and according to the shell in my main distro it belongs to pclinuxos-themes:
Code: [Select]
$ rpm -qf /usr/share/plymouth/themes/PCLinuxOS/PCLinuxOS.plymouth
pclinuxos-theme-1.1.9-4pclos2010

but once I try to install it in the virtual install in construction, it complains that /usr/share/plymouth/themes/PCLinuxOS/PCLinuxOS.plymouth does not exists : how is that possible ???

Here is a screenshot:

Thanks for help.

A CLI.iso from etjr is off-topic here in this forum.
It's a developers release and not supported here.
Maybe it have to moved to developers corner or Developers ML.

I get that, however the topic here is specifically about the pclinuxos-theme package, and not about the cli.iso which is only the context : does pclinuxos-theme miss this directory and file above said, or does it not miss this file ?

Thanks,
