Panel Quit icon
« on: October 05, 2010, 08:49:59 AM »

Joble,

Would it be possible to get the old panel Quit icon box back.  The blue square centered
box with selections inside.  The new one doesn't look as good and doesn't work right
either.

I upgraded my portable and the old one remained.  Then upgraded my flash, probably from a
different repository, and some new weird one got installed, which like I said, still doesn't
work right like the old one does.

THX.

patrick provide a screenshot ... because i have fully updated today and my log out has remained the same

Kori ;D

When I got up this morning the blue logout box from the panel Quit action button nicely
displayed and worked.  Now some weird Gnome-like screen is popping up from that same
action button.   I can't make a screenshot cause that screen pushes the whole desktop out of the way.
I don't think the old blue box would do that but it isn't there anymore.

The "additional option" to upload images is disabled too.

seems you have gnome desktop installed aswell

Hi,

The Quit action button works OK if I use the portable drive, on the flash drive it hangs,
and sure could cause an improper shutdown.  Tries to clear the whole desktop and logout
at the same time and just can't do it.  Wish I knew a little more engineering about that.
Starting to use the portable drive then.

Reinstalled KDE the other day and about 300 upgrades and it's flash drive was hanging
on several items.   Should be light on the engineering again.

RealPlayer still doesn't launch all the time from the menu, just all the time from the panel
launcher.   You said yours does, so that must be a memory problem on my computer.   Not
really an Xfce program either.

thx

I update Phoenix a couple days ago and I didn't get that.  Only issue so far is the GDM splash.

Main culprit is the flash drive on my side, proved that about the action button.  Otherwise the flash is OK
and the rest of the Xfce program.   I'll use the portable hard drive daily then and the flash for backup instead
of vice-versa.  Should be better for testing programs, etc..

Cheers,
