Today's Update. GTK and Murrine became ugly
« on: October 05, 2010, 03:25:53 AM »
Using the murrina themes in xfce4 and openbox. Yesterday they were pretty, today they are pretty ugly. The buttons lost their styling and all the progress indicator bars have become white and anemic in appearance. On the other hand, KDE session is looking good.

Thanks for the reply Sproggy.

Did what you suggested, but nothing changed. I probably should have added that the problem exists only in my Openbox session. I'm using the Lxappearance app to apply gtk2 themes and icons in Openbox (also lxpanel), but I don't use the lxde session mgr or any other lxde components. Nitrogen for wallpapers. The problem only occurs with gtk2 themes on the murrine engine. Of course it's not a critical issue, but I would like to get it fixed eventually. Thanks again. ;D

Thanks for the reply. No, QTCurve is not installed on my system. I remember when I glanced at the contents of the update that caused the uglification, there were one gtk something update and one murrine themes something update. All the other bits were for the huge KDE update (265 mb of downloads).
