KDE 3.5 MiniMe Upgrade
«

I have KDE 3.5 MiniMe installed in the laptop. I want to know is it possible to update the "main" section from a repo.
example - use a normal repo (current) and take all the sections out except 'main' and update? Is it alright to do that?
How about upgrading the PCLOS parts? not including kde 3.5? is it ok to do so?
Thanks!

No, you can't update 2007 branch to 2010, you need fresh installation of PCLOS. But in 2010 branch is no kde3 and you can switch to KDE4/Gnome/XFCE/LXDE/Openbox or E-17. As for me, I have switched to E-17 when kde3 was lost.
