[SOLVED] Now NOT - being forced to abandon PCLinuxOS due to Hellanzb problems

I love PCLinuxOS but unfortunately I am going to have move to another distro, The main software I use is Lottanzb with Hellanzb, but since python-twisted got updated, Hellanzb no longer works, have tried the only solution I have found in this forum but still couldn't get it to work.

The other distro's seem to have patched Hellanzb to fix the problem.

So unless someone can help me fix the problem then I am going to have to change from my favourite distro.

Nothing posted in broken packages about it. Do you have a link to a patch?

I have managed to fix this problem I decided to have one more go at the solution found here

I changed the python-twisted version numbers in the py files mentioned on here and now it is working.

you can help improve pclinux when you report errors and problems

other users lately just whine and abandon forum and distro letting us saying

The forum is here, you are a member, use it. Dont try to solve your own problems in silent and unnecessarily waste a lot of valuable time.
