unfortunately its not the NSA, and not all folks are computer literate, right, and especially not many here use linux to a satisfactory level so what would you expect. other than that, ive noticed that the 77.xxx.xxx.xxx range is not only assigned periodically to my country, but as well to neighbouring countries, and that is, due to economic circumstances, frequently a pirated windows heaven, so you get the idea.
btw, there are some registered pclos user groups for the region, as far as i know it.
and as i said, IP vs MAC filtering would do the magic, at least a bit better than all the rest, if one was not using the proxy to get to a seemingly other location.
i said that my future procedure before joining the forum would be to check the IP for being blacklisted, if not- get in, if yes, disconnect, check again, if not then again, use proxy- thats my ISP 1.
ISP 2 you have no trouble with, so believe we shall be having good chit chat for a long time
cheers
