[SOLVED] pdf document

I have a pdf document i need to edit or convert to office......

anyone tell me how convert to office or how i can copy and paste from pdf document...

I think you need to look for PDFedit in the repo's (Synaptic)  ;)

I believe Okular is in the default KDE install.

1. Opem your pdf in Okular
2. Tools > Text Selection Tool
3. Edit >Select All
4. Edit > Copy
5. Open OOWriter
6. Edit > Paste

Hmmm ... PDFedit and Okular sound like good solutions, but there is also a PDF import filter available for both OO.o Writer and AbiWord. I use AbiWord to import PDF files, on the rare occasion that I find the need to.

I  exported as text---could not find a way to keep format---but this will do...

I have found this useful at times when I needed to edit a pdf.

It was a 158 page pdf... I needed to copy 10 pages.....to office

editing the pdf was no problem.. i could not import to open office or abiword..

I could import as image...or text =but it lost the format ....
