"Show desktop" doesn't work correctly with Gimp
« on: September 25, 2010, 11:42:47 AM »
Hi,
"show desktop" doesn't work correctly when Gimp is open. If I press that button, gimp "tools" window remain in the front of the desktop. What's wrong? I'm running kde sc 4.5.1 and gimp 2.6.10.

Thanks.

I can't find any preference in GIMP for that behavior, so I think I can't help you....
(in KDE Configure your Desktop there also isn't a preference for that (I searched for it)

Other applications have that possibility,
maybe someone else knows a solution?

Yes, there isn't any preference but it's very strange that only the "tool" window remain on the desktop. I think "show desktop" button doesn't work with Gimp...

The layers window (if open), too will stay open after showing Desktop....
=> it's also not possible to minimalize those windows separately
