Chinese character support

    I download a latest version PCLinuxOS 2010.7 and installed to my PC. I found it's English version. I work in China now. Can this os support Chinese?

Yes, of course it can. Did you run addlocale? >> Menu > More Applications > Configuration > Localization Manager -- You can use it to switch the system to other languages / localizations.

In installation you ought to choose a keyboard language settings and there are at least 2 Ch. and 2 Thai-pei sets. One is simply unable to escape this choice...

And if the person did not recognize that a choice was being given? This is a possibility. If the person uses a translator to ask for help, might he / she not recognize the keyboard selection screen? And in not recognizing it, fail to comprehend its significance?
