Well, i am up and running thanks to you guys! :) Very impressed with VB so far. Only problem i have that no matter which res. i try in windows or how i maximize/resize the window i either have:

Black space on either side of the virtual OS window or,

The lower part of the virtual OS window is goners, so no icon toolbar or start menu...

Could it be that my screen is to blame? It is a 17 inch widescreen on a Lenevo Thinkpad R61.... ? Any workarounds?

I think you have to play around with the screen size in "VB". Don't try to correct it from within Windows.

It's been a while so play around, but my answer may not be accurate.   ;)

Glad you got it up and running!

Have you installed the Guest Additions? This needs to be done in each running VM.

Installing the additions did the trick. Thanks old Pollack and everyone else. Marking this solved! :)
