Can one make the file managers look like the E17 theme?
« on: September 20, 2010, 11:17:25 AM »
I really like Enlightenment but whenever I have to open the file manager it of course looks nothing like whatever E17 theme I'm using, nor is it using the icons I have set. can this be fixed? It's rather jarring.

also folders in FF use the generic folder icons unlike with other desktops.

thanks

You can use efm, e17's own filemanager but it's rather minimalistic unless you add the toolbar and the navigation and path modules.
To change the look of pcmanfm you have to install lxappearance which will also change the look and style and icons of other gtk applications. Look around on gnome-look.org for a gtk theme and icons that match your e17 theme.
You can also change the icon theme in e17 and tick the box that says 'This overrides general icon theme' to have the e-filemanager and the menu use the same icons you've set in lxappearance.
