LXDE crashes trying to view jpeg attachment in Thunderbird = solved

Hi everyone

LXDE on NEC Versa E200 1500 Mhz processor, 256 memory.

Thunderbird opens documents in Open Office but crashes when trying to view jpeg file.  She could open pictures in emails when it ran Windows, so not sure what issue is.  I see that there's a couple of graphics programmes installed by default, and assumed one of those would open the file.

Any help much appreciated.

Was having a log on problem with AVIO-GDM error.  Once that was fixed jpeg attachment opened ok.
