krb5 src 1.8.x no longer provides krb5-ftp server or client packages. I did find a Fedora package called krb5-appl-1.0.1 but it is too early to tell if it will work on pclinuxos.

Here are some alternative console ftp clients for now.

atftp
lftp  <--recommended
ncftp
qftp

Hope this helps.
Tex

Thanks Tex and everyone else. I started using lftp as suggested.

I've uploaded krb5-appl-clients-1.0.1-1pclos2010.i586.rpm krb5-appl-servers-1.0.1-1pclos2010.i586.rpm packages to the repo.

krb5-appl-clients contains the following binaries. Maybe that will work for you.

/usr/kerberos/bin/ftp
/usr/kerberos/bin/krlogin
/usr/kerberos/bin/krsh
/usr/kerberos/bin/rcp
/usr/kerberos/bin/rlogin
/usr/kerberos/bin/rsh
/usr/kerberos/bin/telnet

Thanks Tex

Unless you just need it to use in scripts, have you tried FireFTP?  A Firefox add-on that works wonderfully, at least for web site maintenance.

I do use FireFTP on a few machines, but this one has no monitor connected it is a headless system. There is no X server or graphics. It is all remote controlled.  lftp fits the need just fine.  Again thanks everyone.
