Help connecting to a windows share

Could someone help me with or point me to where I can learn how to connect to Window share with PCLinuxOS2010?  I'm using the enligtenment version (very nice btw) and I am not familiar with this distro...

the first thing you could do is use the search in this networking forum

type "file sharing', hit return, a list is presented, read some
such as this one below,, then explore one that is close to your issue.

Im not trying to share my linux box... im tryin to connect to an existing windows share.

Yeah that link didnt help.  I was able to locate it through the configuration(Configure Windows Share), but now I cannot get it to mount  Searching hasnt turned up anything yet..  I'll keep reading hopefully I will find a solution.

I found the reason why I couldnt get it to mount... I had to put in the IP address... I will probably need to update whatevers HOSTS file the system uses so that I can do this by name rather than by IP....
