Not that I've noticed.  I suppose it is possible to try to get a package before it has been fully uploaded.  To avoid that just make sure you have the green checkmark and no activity going on.

trustytrev :)

It is someone else as it has been saying permission denied for a .directory file for a couple of days now when you mouse over the icon on the taskbar.

I've just deleted the .directory from ~/dropbox/SRPM. :o

Is it still showing up in your box, Tex?

Well mine didn't come back yet.  Interesting.  Grabs a handful of popcorn and swigs a beer to watch it all unfold.

The content of the file --
Code: [Select]
[Dolphin]
Timestamp=2010,9,5,17,35,21
ViewMode=1

I don't use dolphin. :o

I've liked Dropbox so far.

Though I tried linking a folder to a friend, and it insisted that the friend open an account to see the folder.

That's NOT good.  I have sent some invites out to join.  But I don't agree with the idea, just to see something that I want someone to see (a folder), they have to open an account.

Guess they only want us to share one file at a time.........

Did you put it in the "Public" folder?  Otherwise, only the account owner can see it.  I know, a bit non-intuitive.  The root folder is private,and the sub-folders are public...
