[SOLVED] Luckybackup - can't schedule.
« on: September 05, 2010, 09:33:43 AM »
After reading lots of favorable comments I installed Luckybackup.

It works just fine when running manually - very fast. Just 9 minutes to create a 20 GiB backup.

The problem is when I try to create a schedule, it tells me: "The profile you are trying to open is not a valid luckyBackup v. 0.42 profile" but I haven't created a new profile, I'm just using the default.

Any ideas?

Russell.

Mine does the same. It worked OK a week or so ago, so I can only think something's been broken in a recent update.

O.K. Thanks.  I'll just wait for the next update and try again.

Version 0.4.3 apparently fixes this bug so I have put in a package request and marked this solved.

Russell - just updated my system and luckyBackup is now 0.4.3 and scheduling (cron) appears to be working fine.

Good news!!  ;)

Thanks for the heads up Menotu and many thanks to Tex.

Haven't been able to try it yet as my main machine has blown up and I'm waiting for parts to build a new one.  Just as well I did that backup ;D
