Was that with a live cd or with a live usb ? How much ram does that machine have ?
Installed with a trick, booted from the KDE LiveCD and opened the tray at the moment the display showed:
Detecting USB mass-storage devices
I left the earlyer used UNetbootin USB stick in an USB 1.1 slot, de machine, not capable of USB booting, now continued booting from USB. (livecd.sqfs) Much faster
This machine uses 1G memory (added in the list)
Yes, it's on purpose.
Leave the install screen at max in this case
I intentionally installed without caching the packages from the other machine to have a live situation and timing for future PCLos customers.
Thanks for the info.
