How do I find out which version of QT I have?
« on: September 02, 2010, 07:25:33 PM »
I filed a bug report yesterday with KDE relating to kinfocenter.  I have been asked which version of QT I have.  How do I find out?  I have the following packages installed:

libqt3 3.3.8b-1pclos2010
qt3-common 3.3.8b-1pclos2010
qt4-common 4.7.0-0.3pclos2010
task-qt4 4.5.2-1pclos2009

Looks like you have 4.7.0. But, to check, open a terminal and enter qtconfig. Click Help > About Qt. Mine says "This program uses Qt version 4.7.0". That's the only way I know of.

Thanks.  I got the version number from qtconfig: 4.7.0

Kinfocenter here shows the hardware summary also.  That's all it shows.  I have posted separately about that.

The qmake command:

Code: [Select]
$ qmake -v
bash: qmake: command not found
