Burn proof [Answered]
« on: August 31, 2010, 09:18:08 AM »
When using Mondoarchive GUI, one of the settings you are asked to make is whether or not your CD is burn proof.  I understand, in general terms, what burn proof is.  However, how does one determine if his CD has this technology or not?
Thanks.

It appears that I answered my own question.  A Google search of "burn proof" found a website that stated that all cd burners (and, I assume, DVD burners) produced since 2001 have some technology to prevent buffer underrun. So, I assume, this is a non-issue if your equipment is newer than that.  If anyone has any information to the contrary, I would appreciate a posting here.
Thanks
