I shall try to update again to the newest kernel ! I recently upgraded my PCLinuxOS Gnome installation and since then, I have lots of problems with my wireless connection, it keeps disconnecting and when I manually re-connect, I have no access anymore to Internet. This doesn't happen on my PCLinuxOS KDE4 installation where I did not update the kernel. Will reboot under the Gnome edition to check the kernel number, I think it is the kernel-18.104.22.168-pclos4.bfs but some here say that the problem is solved in this version !?
EDIT: in fact it must be some other update ! I updated my KDE installation, keeping the kernel to 22.214.171.124... and I had the same problem: it looks like a recent update makes my wifi go to sleep mode after some times and it won't wake up by itself. I have to manually reconnect
Did not happen before with this hardware.
