Author Topic: [SOLVED] kde panel madness (running apps icons not showing in panel)  (Read 1172 times)

I was using my newly installed pclos2010 when I somehow dragged the PC start menu to the desktop.  After that I could not drag it back to the panel (with the panel unlocked and the gnome foot clicked, i.e. showing the panel setting menu)

I ended up deleting it and getting a new one from the panel widgets. But then all my right side widgets (shutdown, clock, tray and system load) decided to migrate to the left and won't stick to the right.

So I added a panel spacer, moved them to the right of the spacer, then removed it. Now they stick to the right.

However, now when I start an application its icon does not show up in the middle. There are no icons for running applications

Add the Smooth Tasks widget - that should do it.
